Now in its 11th edition, TEFAF New York continues to be a magnetic force in the world of art, design, and high jewelry.
Held at the Park Avenue Armory, the fair—running through May 13—has once again brought together a breathtaking array of rare and exceptional pieces from 91 dealers across 13 countries and four continents.
For jewelry connoisseurs, this year’s selection is a masterclass in artistry and innovation. Among the standout creations is Anna Hu’s Cleopatra necklace, a dazzling tribute to feminine power.
Crafted in Paris, the piece is an opulent blend of history and haute joaillerie, set in 18k yellow gold and adorned with over 245 carats of red spinel pearls, 110 carats of diamond beads, and accents of green sapphires, yellow diamonds, and brilliant-cut diamonds.
Hemmerle, the Munich-based family house known for its avant-garde combinations of material, stuns with a sculptural bangle blending stainless steel, bronze, white gold, and glowing spessartine garnets.
The piece reflects Hemmerle’s philosophy of reinvention, elevating unexpected materials into works of quiet strength and refined edge.
Also commanding attention is a historical treasure from FD Gallery: a Cartier Belle Époque lavaliere necklace, circa 1908. Set in platinum with delicate diamonds, the necklace is an elegant whisper from another time, yet effortlessly timeless in its design.
