Bvlgari has unveiled its latest high jewelry and watch collection, Polychroma—a bold celebration of color, light, and Roman heritage. Known for its architectural elegance and gemstone mastery, the Maison continues to elevate its legacy through exceptional craftsmanship and material innovation.
At the heart of the collection is an intricate interplay of light and form. Creative Director Lucia Silvestri approached color as a language, curating stones whose hues—whether pastel, vivid, or deep—respond to each other with refined harmony.
Bvlgari’s signature openwork settings allow light to flood the gems from beneath, intensifying their brilliance and enhancing dimensionality. “Light is essential,” Silvestri notes. “It transforms every stone.”
Rome remains a constant muse. The domes, stars, and skyline silhouettes of the Eternal City inspired several key pieces.
The Cosmic Vault necklace reflects celestial architecture, while the Celestial Mosaic centers on a breathtaking 131.21-carat Tajikistan spinel—one of the world’s finest. Other standouts include the Polychromatic Bloom, composed of over 500 components, and the Trombino platinum ring, which holds an extraordinary 45-carat vivid yellow diamond.
The Magnus Emerald necklace, recently worn by Priyanka Chopra at the MET Gala, features a 241.06-carat Colombian emerald of exceptional depth and character.
With over 600 pieces showcased, including 250 new creations, the Polychroma launch marked a milestone. Sixty designs are classified as “millionaire pieces”—the highest number ever revealed by Bvlgari at a single event.
Color remains the cornerstone of the collection. Silvestri emphasizes Bvlgari’s commitment to excellence in cutting and proportion, often recutting high-value stones to achieve visual elegance over carat weight. On display were 56 rare gems in 16 cuts, offered loose or as the basis for bespoke commissions.
Bvlgari also extended its creative expression to other luxury categories. High jewelry handbags designed by Mary Katrantzou pair exotic leathers with removable gemstone clasps that double as pendants. Fragrances by Alberto Morillas come in Murano glass bottles topped with serpent-adorned brooches, encrusted with rainbow-hued precious stones.
In Polychroma, Bvlgari merges its Roman soul with contemporary glamour—redefining luxury through color, artistry, and legacy.
