The world’s longest diamond necklace, measuring an astonishing 108 metres and featuring over 600 lab-grown diamonds set in luxurious 18-karat rose gold, is poised to make a spectacular debut at the 55th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show in Sharjah.
This breathtaking masterpiece is designed to break the Guinness World Record and will be officially assessed on the opening day of the event, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from May 28 to June 1. Visitors can admire the necklace daily from 1 pm to 10 pm.
Alongside this record-breaking creation, the exhibition will showcase an exquisite range of luxury gold jewellery, dazzling diamond collections, and prestigious timepieces sourced from renowned global exhibitors.
The event attracts participants from around the world, including the UAE, India, Italy, the UK, the USA, Singapore, China, Japan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Lebanon. This year, countries such as Russia, Mexico, Tanzania, and Egypt will also make their debut.
Industry insiders note that the UAE is rapidly expanding its gold jewellery manufacturing capabilities, aiming to double production over the next five years, reinforcing its growing influence in the global precious metals market.
The Sharjah jewellery show continues to be a pivotal platform for showcasing rare and royal jewellery pieces, underscoring the region’s increasing prestige in the luxury jewellery industry.
