In the picturesque Sicilian town of Taormina, Bulgari unveiled its latest high jewellery collection, Polychroma — a dazzling celebration of color and craftsmanship.
Creative director Lucia Silvestri emphasizes the collection’s bold palette, featuring 56 vibrant hues across an extraordinary mix of gemstones such as tanzanite, lapis lazuli, morganite, onyx, and dazzling diamonds.
The collection comprises 600 pieces, including 250 fresh designs and 60 exceptional ‘millionaire products’—rare masterpieces showcasing Bulgari’s mastery of gem cutting and innovative combinations.
Highlights include the Cosmic Vault necklace, worn by Anne Hathaway, featuring a 123.35-carat royal blue sapphire inspired by Roman architecture, and the Magnus Emerald necklace, boasting a monumental 241.06-carat octagonal emerald gracing Priyanka Chopra Jonas at the Met Gala.
Other showstoppers include the Essence of Yellow ring, crowned with a rare vivid yellow diamond over 45 carats, encircled by archival-inspired step-cut diamonds.
Signature Bulgari motifs such as the Tubogas flexible chain and the iconic Serpenti serpent motif are reinvented throughout the collection in necklaces, rings, and the new Monete line featuring antique coins.
Expanding beyond jewelry, Bulgari introduces high-jewellery fragrances crafted in Murano with snake-adorned bottles set with emeralds, onyx, and tourmalines, harmonizing with the collection’s vibrant spirit. Creative director Mary Katrantzou complements the range with rose-gold Serpenti sunglasses and handbags adorned with detachable high-jewellery closures.
Bulgari’s watchmaking artistry shines in the Gioco di Forme e Colori timepiece—an exquisite secret watch with a dial revealed beneath a light-refracting gemstone brooch, powered by the ultra-compact Piccolissimo movement.
Anchored in Roman heritage and Italian craftsmanship, Bulgari’s Polychroma collection exemplifies the house’s enduring philosophy: an artful harmony of vivid colors, masterful gem cutting, and innovative design. It stands as a vibrant testament to Bulgari’s legacy of transforming high jewellery into living art.
