In a luminous tribute to both couture heritage and cosmic imagination, Chanel unveiled its Reach for the Stars high jewellery collection in Kyoto—a city steeped in craftsmanship and tradition.
The collection, crafted under the late Patrice Leguéreau, bridges the legacy of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel with an ethereal celebration of stars, wings, and the House’s timeless artistry in diamonds, sapphires, gold, and lacquer.
Rooted in the Maison’s storied past, the new range revisits Chanel’s iconic celestial motifs—first introduced in her landmark 1932 collection—while boldly introducing wings as a symbol of liberation and grace.
Pieces like the Wings of Chanel necklace, rendered in white gold, platinum, and a rare Padparadscha sapphire, float with airy asymmetry and refined openwork, reflecting Chanel’s enduring vision of movement and modernity.
Other highlights include the Take My Breath Away set in pink and white gold with polished diamonds, and the regal Embrace Your Destiny necklace featuring two winged lions—an avant-garde evolution of Chanel’s beloved lion emblem, representing Gabrielle’s Leo zodiac sign.
