The pop diva accepted the Icon Award wearing a black Mariana Romanova gown with shimmering silver panels. But it was her jewelry that truly captured attention.
Carey’s necklace, designed by Harry Kotlar, featured a massive cushion-cut diamond that sparkled brilliantly on stage.
She paired it with a chunky diamond and white gold bracelet from Akillis and large diamond studs by Zydo. Her look was completed with her signature bouncy curls and glossy lips.
Taking the stage at the Dolby Theatre, Carey joked about the lighting, saying, “I just want to ask you a question—is the lighting okay? Because I don’t like bad lighting.” Holding her trophy, she expressed heartfelt thanks to her fans and family. “Even now, I still get excited when I hear one of my songs playing on the radio.
